Historical background of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante
In the 90th the Aston Martin V8 edition was produced as the last edition of the 20th-century generation. With its design and its high standards in finishing, the set a new standard and gave us a high-class vehicle.
The V8 edition was stylistically very similar to his predecessor, the Virage Vantage. The first version was the V8 Coupe: After that, the produces a Cabriolet-Version the V8 Volante- This had technical similarities to the V8 Coupe but had an 18 cm longer wheelbase. Details about the V8 Vantage Volante
The V8 Vantage Volante is part of the last V8 edition and the last sonder edition of the Aston Martins Work Service in New Pagnell. After the production of the last car, the production work was closed. The last built vehicle left the workshop in October 200. The V8 Vantage Volante is no usual model. With only 9 special models, all created after the best Aston Martin client's wishes in cooperation with Steven Bolton and Shaun Rush, the vehicles are worldwide a real collectible. No care equals another, each one built handmade, with lots of love and passion.
The uniqueness is like the Aston Martins edition produced in the sixties, the DB4GT editions, where also each car had a special specification. Word says that, to buy one of those exclusive cars you needed a special invitation. Each vehicle had a user manual, with all individual properties, specially generated for it. They also enclosed a special limited brochure. To particularly honour the entire vehicle manufacturing process and keep it in memory, the whole building process had been extensively photographed for each vehicle and recorded in an album. That is how this memorable moment in the company's history can always be remembered. Each of these new special editions received a special certificate which was personally signed by Robert A Dover, the chairman of the company. Of the total of 9 units in the V8 Vantage Volante series, only three have left-aligned steering, the other five right-aligned steering.
