Used metal processing machinery – metal forming, separating and much more

Metalworking is one of mankind’s most important achievements in history. The possibilities are almost unlimited. There are only a few products without at least one metal component.

Many different tools such as lathes and milling machines are available for machining metal. HÄMMERLE offers all these machines at particularly low prices.

Forming metalworking

After the original forming, the metal is processed into plates or blocks. These steps are called forming processes. By rolling, pressing, or bending, the aluminium or other material is brought into a different shape. Forging plays a special role here because this process produces particularly resistant products. This is because the mass of the blank is not changed during forging.

Separating and machining tools

Tools for separating processes include, among others, lathes, milling machines (e.g. a used multi-purpose milling machine), cutting, and grinding machines. But plate shears and sheet shears belong to this category. These aids are used to cut sheet metal in a linear direction. Second-hand die-cutting and notching machines, on the other hand, serve to machine defined areas of the blank.

Even machining with a used drill ranks among this metal processing field. These machines are used, among other things, for setting stud and through holes. Used milling machines and lathes play an important role in precision machining. The former creates particularly complex contours. The latter, in turn, allows the production of rotationally symmetrical bodies. The "king" among the milling machines is the CNC machining centre. This device combines turning, milling, and often also drilling with repeatable accuracy and constant quality. These centres are the most complex and therefore also the most expensive machines in metalworking. Through us, however, you can bid on your CNC machining Centre at the lowest possible price.

Surface treatment and finishing

Second-hand grinding, polishing, and lapping machines are used to finish surfaces. These machines guarantee millimetre-precise removal and thus maximum precision in metalworking. Finishing a material serves the achievement of specified tolerances as well as preparing it for galvanic coating. Apart from polishing and grinding, there are additional surface treatment methods.

Metal joining

Welding is considered the most used process for joining aluminium and other metals. You can choose between simple forms such as friction welding and more complex forms such as gas welding and electric welding. The range of machines available is very broad, from handy welding machines to large stationary welding machines. Two further possibilities for joining metal are riveting and gluing, and submerged arc welding is used for particularly thick large parts.

Metal processing tools – HÄMMERLE has the right one for you!

We offer many additional machines and aids for metal processing. A few examples would be used three-roll bending machines, die stocks, and double grinding blocks. Should you require further information on our offers or the process of our online and on-site auctions, please do not hesitate to contact us at any time. We are pleased to provide you with advice and are a competent partner when it comes to the auction of metalworking machinery.
